I have purchased this lotion several times before in the past, and it was great for my skin. I noticed smoother skin, and it certainly lightened and helped with dark spots. With my most recent purchase however, I was greatly disappointed in the formula, as it seemed different. It smelled like something rancid, the colour was very pale, and the texture was very runny. It does still have a lightening effect, but it has also been breaking me out. I don't know if I received a bad batch but I had purchased two bottles and they were both the same. I likely will not be purchasing this lotion again as I have become somewhat skeptical about its true contents following the difference in formula I noticed.

This Papaya brightening body lotion from Mitchellbrands, Canada brightened my skin but gave me lots of white spots all over my body. I don’t even know what to do to clear them. Please take down this product and other similar products until you guys remove the ingredient(s) that is causing this problem. My skin is completely messed up with these white spots. I will NOT recommend it to my friends.
